About Me

My photo
Love my Maker. Want to know Him more. Want to see Him and experience Him everyday. Want His light to cover me and radiate from my very being.

One Yearavers-ary

Thinking about how the one year anniversary was in stark contrast to the two year anniversary. The first one was spent at Bondi Beach, in Sydney Australia...had a weekend long time of drinking great coffees, lying on the beach in the sun, making fun food concoctions in our apartment flat and we even bought a two dollar Japanese Art Festival Film tape, and tried to watch it...We didn't make it through the whole thing, but it was worth the effort.
So much happens in a relationship over a year period.

and the second was spent in Kansas City... Jason Upton concert

and hotel night, where luis spent the night throwing up, because of the food poisoning he got from eating out at Denny's with our friends after the concert...

Though Luis was ill, I still managed to have a good time!  One thing God has taught me about life through the avenue of marriage. Things don't always go the way you think they are going, but through them He is near, and in those moments you find him in love, in mercy and in grace (if I am willing to listen!).

Luis is trying his hardest to look like he is having a good time....awwww.

This is a photo I took in San Francisco this summer.  The artwork I applied to it reminded me I can dream....Winter has the tendency to seem dreary and bleak.
Oh, San Francisco bridge!
The dreams you've seen.

TRUSTIN' BOO YAGHAHH!

Trusting God is fun.
"The Lord is my portion,"
says my soul
"Therefore I will hope in Him"

Holiday Time.

It was nice to get some holiday time. Sitting by the fire and putting together a puzzle. Actually the puzzle dominated us, but we did give it a go. A wonderful new friend so generously offered us her cabin for the weekend. We had no idea what to expect as it was named a "hunting cabin". We were super surprised to find a three story log mansion!!!! What a super blessing. God has some many surprises. A great adventure to the middle of nowhere Nebraska! PS...Look at Luis' FRO! Luis has some growing POWER!

Found this lovely couple next door to the diner. We left in a hurry.

Looking for food

We were in search of some food...
We found a little diner, I was bummed b/c the vegetarian menu was low,

and Luis was excited b/c there was a whole cupfull of gravy to put on his chicken fried steak...oooh diners.

Trip to Town

We made our way from the hunting cabin to town and we found some interesting exploits. As I look at this I find the most interesting exploit to be Luis' FANTASTIC hair and mustache! WOW!
